He starts experimenting with feeding a slime with only iron instead of random metals and instead it evolves to an iron slime.

Not going to go into details but he finds some very interesting uses for the iron slime shortly after.

apparently they're separate species. there was a thing in the first season where Ryoma discovered that if a slime eats multiple kinds of metal it'd become a metal slime, but if it ate only pure iron it'd become an iron slime.

I dunno. It's not as if I've been keeping track of all of them. XD

Anyways, it was cute to see Dinome talking about his grandson and how he might be a genius. It was really nice and it made me smile.
And, color me surprised, Ryoma managed to create a music box. Man, this episode was full of unexpected, but really nice things.

It seems to me like Dinome's grandson might be a reincarnated person from Earth like Ryoma. While the gods did say one gets transported once every 200 years on average that doesnt mean people couldnt be transported a few years apart at least once.

he just built a replica of what's already used inside the magic car tho..serge shown the same item on previous ep.....the kid didnt really invent anything new.....he could be just a genius cuz 4yo normally cant do that...but since his grandpa make and sell magic car, it's not that weird if the kid started to be interested with it as well from such young age.

tbf items with this "spin" magic seem to have existed for a reasonable amount of time, and it's already become recreational automobiles. since Ryouma is far from the first otherworlder to appear there, why wouldn't musical instruments be among the existing inventions? the only reason i was expecting they didn't exist is the simple fact that the MC of the story we're following did it.

I often wonder about things like that. But with me it revolves around relatively easy science stuff like electricity, telegraphs, phonographs, gunpowder, steam power, ball point pens and flush toilets with a proper sewage system. Stuff like that.
